The rules for using QrCodeTrack short links, QR codes and bio pages.

Effective date: 21 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and QrCodeTrack ("QrCodeTrack", "we", "us"). They cover your use of qrcodetrack.com, app.qrcodetrack.com and the related API (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

QrCodeTrack lets you create short links, QR codes, bio pages, vCards, event links, file links and hosted static sites, and see statistics on how people use them. Features and limits depend on your plan, and may change over time.

2. Your account

  • You must be at least 16 years old, and old enough to enter into a contract where you live.
  • Give accurate information when you sign up, and keep your email address up to date.
  • Keep your password and API keys secret. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.
  • Tell us straight away at sales@qrcodetrack.com if you think someone else has accessed your account.
  • If you use the Service for an organisation, you confirm that you are allowed to accept these terms on its behalf.

3. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service, or any link, QR code or page created with it, to:

  • phish, collect passwords or payment details by deception, or impersonate a person, brand or organisation;
  • distribute malware, or link to sites that do;
  • send spam, or promote links through unsolicited messages;
  • hide where a link really goes in order to mislead people, or to get around security filters;
  • share content that is illegal, or that infringes copyright, trademarks or other rights;
  • share content that sexually exploits minors, promotes violence or terrorism, or harasses or threatens people;
  • track visitors without a lawful basis, or without the consent the law requires, including through the tracking pixels you add;
  • overload, probe or interfere with the Service, or get around plan limits, rate limits or security measures;
  • resell or sublicense the Service without our written permission.

We may scan links and content for abuse. If we believe something breaks these terms, we may disable the link, code or page, remove the content, or suspend or close the account, with or without notice.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you create or upload, such as links, pages, files, images and text. You give QrCodeTrack a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, copy, display and deliver that content, only as needed to run the Service for you. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies in backups, which are overwritten over time.

You are responsible for your content, and for having the rights to use it. If you collect information from the people who use your links or pages (for example through forms or tracking pixels), you are responsible for telling them and for following the privacy laws that apply.

5. Custom domains

If you connect your own domain, you must own it or be authorised to use it. You are responsible for its DNS settings and renewal. If the domain stops pointing to the Service, links that use it will stop working.

6. Plans and payment

Some features may be available only in paid plans. The price, billing period and what each plan includes are shown before you buy. Paid plans renew automatically until you cancel them, and you can cancel at any time from your account. Your plan then stays active until the end of the period you have paid for. Unless the law requires otherwise, payments are not refundable. If we change the price of a plan, we will tell you before the change applies to you.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may add, change or remove features. If a change significantly reduces a paid feature you rely on, we will tell you in advance where we can.

8. Ending your use of the Service

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms, if the law requires it, or if your account has been inactive for a long time; for inactivity, we will email you before closing it. When an account closes, its links, QR codes and pages stop working. QR codes that are already printed will no longer redirect.

9. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability and non-infringement. Statistics are estimates: for example, locations worked out from IP addresses are approximate.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, QrCodeTrack is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Indemnity

You agree to defend and compensate QrCodeTrack against claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) that arise from your content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these terms.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the effective date above, and if a change is significant, we will tell account holders by email or in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms, and any dispute about them or the Service, are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of Cairo, Egypt have exclusive jurisdiction over any such dispute. Before going to court, please contact us at sales@qrcodetrack.com so we can try to resolve the issue informally. If you use the Service as a consumer, this section does not take away any mandatory protections that the law of your country of residence gives you.

14. General

If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest stays in effect. If we do not enforce a right, that does not mean we have given it up. You may not transfer these terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between you and QrCodeTrack about the Service.
